FS25 SNR-75M3 Fan Song E V1.0

Technical Profile and Summary of the SNR-75M3 Fan Song E
The SNR-75M3 Fan Song E (NATO reporting name: Fan Song E) is a mobile, fire-control and missile-guidance radar system developed to operate with the S-75 Dvina (SA-2 Guideline) surface-to-air missile system.
Key Specifications
Radar Antennas and Configuration: Features two characteristic slotted-waveguide parabolic antennas mounted at right angles (one for azimuth and one for elevation tracking) to provide precise spatial coordinates for target and missile tracking.
Guidance Mechanism: Operates via radio-command guidance, tracking both the target and the fired missiles simultaneously before transmitting steering commands to guide the warhead to intercept.
Mobility: Typically transported via a towed wheeled trailer or specialized truck setup, allowing it to be redeployed alongside stationary or semi-mobile S-75 battery sites.
Frequency Band: Operates in the centimeter wave bands, equipped with optical tracking backups and electronic counter-countermeasure (ECCM) improvements specific to the M3 variant to maintain lock in cluttered or jammed environments.
Summary and Military Utility
Fire Control for SA-2 Systems: Serves as the crucial “brain” of the S-75 battery, responsible for illuminating targets, tracking incoming threats, and actively guiding the heavy surface-to-air missiles to interception.
Strategic Air Defense: Instrumental in high-to-medium altitude strategic air defense networks, providing the precision tracking required to engage high-flying bombers, reconnaissance aircraft, and tactical targets across extended ranges.
