The mod is still in beta.
Changelog 0.9.6.1:
– github issues#141 – For some players, the game would not start after the update, this issue has now been fixed.
Changelog 0.9.6.0:
– Rethinking Automatic Engine Shutdown Disable Logic
– Rethinking RVB Specialization Exclusion Logic
– If workshop hours are disabled, the finish time is now calculated correctly.
– Own or mobile workshops are always open; inspections, service, or repairs can be started anytime,
but the work duration may slightly increase due to mechanic dispatch time being simulated.
– DescVersion increased
– Added new mod icon
Changelog 0.9.5.9:
– RVB menu optimization
– Keep your vehicle clean! 100% dirt + player-set daily service time = increased wear (engine, thermostat)
– In cold conditions, the usable battery charge decreases, making starting more difficult.
– If the vehicle is not used, the battery loses 3% of its charge per month.
– In the vehicle workshop menu, the status of each vehicle is displayed, indicating whether it is currently under inspection, service, or repair.
The expected duration of the process is also shown.
– If the vehicle has a hood animation, it automatically opens during inspection/service/repair.
– github issues#138 – Conflict with Dashboard Live
Changelog 0.9.5.8:
– MP Bug
The way the RVB menu opens has changed slightly compared to the FS22 version: Now it can only be accessible if you sit in a vehicle.
Vehicles can only be repaired on the basic vehicle workshop -Trigger.
This was implemented because many players had difficulty using the mod in FS22.
The generator of the vehicle only loads the battery if the engine runs at the idle speed.
The battery can also be charged at electrical charging stations. If the battery level drops to 10% or less, it can be charged in the vehicle workshop.
This version is only used for test purposes and errors can occur.
Recommended Dependencies (to avoid errors):
Wind Turbines Charging Station mod (i.e., FS25_electricChargeStation) – by HoT online Team
JCB E-tech Powerpack (i.e., FS25_JCB_Powerpack)
Mod Conflict
If you are using the Real Vehicle Breakdowns (RVB) mod, do not use the:
– FS25_DisableTurnOffMotor – it will prevent the engine temperature from rising
If you experience excessively fast component wear on a server, it is recommended to shut down the vehicles’ engines before time acceleration or sleeping.
If the issue persists after this, please report it.

Thank you for sharing the detailed changelogs for the Real Vehicle Breakdowns mod version 0.9.6.1 and the previous versions. It's great to see the continuous improvements and new features being added to enhance the gameplay experience for players.

The fixes and optimizations in version 0.9.6.1, such as resolving the game startup issue for some players, show the developers' commitment to addressing user feedback and ensuring a smoother gameplay experience.

The changes related to automatic engine shutdown logic, RVB specialization exclusion, workshop hours calculation, and vehicle cleanliness affecting wear and battery charge management add depth to the gameplay mechanics. These additions make vehicle maintenance and management more engaging and realistic for players.

The introduction of workshop status display, hood animation during inspections/services/repairs, and changes to battery charging mechanics further enhance the immersion and realism of vehicle maintenance activities within the game.

The modifications in version 0.9.5.9 to simulate battery behavior in cold conditions and during vehicle inactivity add another layer of realism to the mod, making players consider environmental factors and regular vehicle usage for optimal performance.

The caution about mod conflicts and recommended dependencies provided in the changelogs help ensure a smooth experience for players by avoiding potential errors and issues that may arise from using incompatible mods or lacking essential dependencies.

Overall, the Real Vehicle Breakdowns mod seems to offer a comprehensive and immersive vehicle maintenance experience, emphasizing realism and attention to detail. Players can appreciate the depth of gameplay mechanics and the efforts made by the developers to continually improve and refine the mod for a more engaging gameplay experience.
