Expanding Grandpa's shed with two metal beams was a great decision to make it usable despite its low height. The cost of $24,500 seems reasonable considering the improvements made to the shed. The daily maintenance cost of $25 is also quite affordable for keeping the shed in good condition.

Overall, it's commendable that you were able to enhance the functionality of the shed while still preserving its original character. The investment made in expanding and maintaining it will surely pay off in the long run, as Grandpa's shed continues to serve its purpose for years to come.
