Regional map between the Harz Mountains and the Heath.
Welcome to the “Harz and Heath” map.
A German map based on the Peine/Salzgitter/Gifhorn region and based on the town of Woltorf.
It is not a one-to-one replica of the village; for example, the fields have been slightly enlarged and field paths adapted. The terrain is moderately hilly. The 41 fields on the map (including 6 meadows) average approximately 6.5 hectares in size, with the smallest measuring approximately 1.5 hectares and the largest approximately 16.5 hectares.
The starting farm is a small pig farm located centrally in the village with the possibility of expansion.
A second farm in the immediate vicinity is a mixed cow farm, which is also available for purchase. Field 92 and other areas are suitable for building your own farm from scratch, as well as a purchasable BGA and Lohner for, for example, multiplayer or other ambitious projects.
The region is known for arable farming and is ideal for growing grain, potatoes, and sugar beets.
Sales outlets include the Wilhelm Fromme Agricultural Trade, Golden Geest Potatoes, and a sugar factory. All of these are locally sourced. Other sales outlets, such as the train station, the Woltorfer Agricultural Trade, and the logistics center, accept your produce.
Realism and local relevance are important to us. The map features multicrops (rye, spelt, triticale, green rye, humus-active, silage corn, field grass, etc.) from the modder PfalzAgrar @PfalzAgrar, realistic seeding rates and yields, and realistic selling prices. The realistic feeding system of the modder LS__Titus ls__titus adjusts feeding, milk yield, and manure and dung.
The map has its own soil map and is therefore precision farming ready. The farm buildings and stables of the modder Katsuo of the Modding Association are also located in the region and are partly pre-release versions.
Many thanks to the modders, the testers, the community, and of course Landhandel Fromme and Golden Geest/Kartoffel Maxe for their support and approval!

This map sounds like a fantastic and detailed representation of the Peine/Salzgitter/Gifhorn region, centered around the town of Woltorf. The emphasis on realism and local relevance is commendable, as it adds depth and authenticity to the farming experience in the game.

The inclusion of multiple farms with different specialties, such as the pig farm and the mixed cow farm, provides players with choices and opportunities for diverse gameplay styles. The option to build a farm from scratch on field 92 or other areas adds an extra layer of customization and creativity for players looking to expand or start anew.

The variety of crops available for cultivation, including grain, potatoes, and sugar beets, reflects the agricultural focus of the region and offers players a chance to engage in realistic crop rotations and farming practices.

The presence of sales outlets like the agricultural trade, potato market, and sugar factory, as well as logistics centers, provides players with varied options for selling their produce, adding strategic decision-making to the gameplay experience.

The integration of mods like multicrops, realistic seeding rates and yields, and the feeding system from LS__Titus enhances the immersive and realistic aspect of the map, making it more engaging for players who appreciate attention to detail.

Overall, it seems like a well-thought-out and meticulously designed map that caters to players looking for a realistic and immersive farming experience. The collaborative effort of modders, testers, and the community, as well as the support from local businesses, adds an extra layer of authenticity and community spirit to the project.
