This mod adjusts the animal system and expands it with the following features:
– Animals have both male and female offspring (In the base game, this only applies to chickens)
– The number of offspring is breed-specific
– Reproduction is not dependent on health
– Reproduction can be started manually or automatically
– Male animals can start reproduction automatically
– Reproduction that is not triggered by male animals costs a fee per animal (prices depend on the breed)
– Reproduction can fail depending on how long ago the last birth was and how old the animal is.
– Milk production and feed consumption of cows has been adjusted to the lactation curve. Cows consume more feed after giving birth, but also produce more milk. Both decrease over time. Milk production even stops completely if a cow has not had offspring for a long time.
– Cows are dry for 2 months before giving birth. This means they do not produce any milk during this time.
– Animals can live longer than 60 months.
– Animals become less healthy when they are in poor health.
– Animals become less healthy when they reach their maximum age.
– Stables can hold more animals than specified due to reproduction. The health of the animals decreases depending on the overcrowding.

Exact values:

Lactation curve:
Month after birth: 0 Feed factor: 0.9 Milk factor: 1.0
Month after birth: 1 Feed factor: 1.02 Milk factor: 1.1
Month after birth: 2 Feed factor: 1.08 Milk factor: 1.2
Month after birth: 3 Feed factor: 1.06 Milk factor: 1.15
Month after birth: 4 Feed factor: 1.02 Milk factor: 1.1
Month after birth: 5 Feed factor: 1.01 Milk factor: 1.05
Month after birth: 6 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 1.0
Month after birth: 7 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.95
Month after birth: 8 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.9
Month after birth: 9 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.85
Month after birth: 10 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.8
Month after birth: 11 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.75
Month after birth: 12 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.7
Month after birth: 13 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.6
Month after birth: 14 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.5
Month after birth: 15 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.4
Month after birth: 16 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.3
Month after birth: 17 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.2
Month after birth: 18 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.1
Month after birth: >=19 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.0

Offspring with probabilities:

Cows:
Number of offspring: 0 Probability: 1%
Number of offspring: 1 Probability: 98%
Number of offspring: 2 Probability: 1%

Pigs:
Number of offspring: 8 Probability: 20%
Number of offspring: 9 Probability: 20%
Number of offspring: 10 Probability: 20%
Number of offspring: 11 Probability: 20%
Number of offspring: 12 Probability: 20%

Sheep:
Number of offspring: 0 Probability: 1%
Number of offspring: 1 Probability: 59%
Number of offspring: 2 Probability: 30%
Number of offspring: 3 Probability: 20%

Horses:
Number of offspring: 0 Probability: 1%
Number of offspring: 1 Probability: 98%
Number of offspring: 2 Probability: 1%

Chickens:
Number of offspring: 0 Probability: 10%
Number of offspring: 1 Probability: 50%
Number of offspring: 2 Probability: 30%
Number of offspring: 3 Probability: 10%

Probability of success for starting reproduction:
Months after last birth: 0 Probability: 0%
Months after last birth: 1 Probability: 40%
Months after last birth: 2 Probability: 80%
Months after last birth: >2 Probability: 100%

Probability of success for starting reproduction decreases by 1% from a certain age:
Cows: 72 months Steps: 7 months
Pigs: 48 months Steps: 4 months
Sheep: 72 months Steps: 7 months
Horses: 180 months Steps: 8 months
Chickens: 36 months Steps: 3 months

Example: A cow gave birth for the last time 5 months ago. This means that the probability is 100%. However, she is already 80 months old. She is therefore 8 months over the maximum limit of 72 months (80 – 72 = 8). The probability for cows increases every 7 months. This results in a penalty of 2% for this cow (8/7 rounded up to 2). This cow therefore still has a 98% probability of successfully starting reproduction.

Maximum age of animals:
Cows: 300 months
Pigs: 180 months
Sheep: 144 months
Horses: 360 months
Chickens: 180 months

Probability of an animal disappearing when it reaches maximum age: 5%
Probability of an animal disappearing when its health is at 0%: 10%

V1.1.0.0
– Support for highland cattle
– The disappearance of animals due to poor health or old age can now be disabled in the settings
– Lactation curve for goats added
– Overwriting animal characteristics via animal.xml is possible

Thank you for sharing the detailed information about the features and adjustments in the Enhanced Animal System V1.1 mod for FS25. I can see that this mod significantly enhances the animal system within the game, adding various realistic aspects to animal husbandry.

Here are some highlights and notable aspects of the mod based on the provided information:

1. **Reproduction System**:
- Male and female animals can now produce offspring for most animal types.
- The number of offspring is breed-specific and comes with associated probabilities.
- Reproduction can be initiated manually or automatically, with male animals able to start reproduction automatically.
- A fee per animal is required for reproduction not triggered by male animals.
- Reproduction can fail depending on factors like the time since the last birth and the age of the animal.

2. **Lactation Curve**:
- The mod introduces a detailed lactation curve for cows, reflecting feed consumption and milk production over time after giving birth.
- Cows have a dry period before giving birth, and both milk production and feed consumption vary following a specific pattern post-birth.

3. **Animal Longevity and Health**:
- Animals can now live longer than the base game's set limit of 60 months.
- Animals become less healthy as they age or when they are overcrowded in the stables.

4. **Customization**:
- Overwriting animal characteristics through animal.xml is possible, providing additional flexibility for customization.

5. **Specific Characteristics**:
- Various animal-specific values are defined, such as the maximum age, probabilities of reproduction success, and chances of animals disappearing due to old age or poor health.

6. **Updates in V1.1.0.0**:
- Support for highland cattle has been added.
- Players have the option to disable the disappearance of animals due to poor health or old age.
- A lactation curve for goats has been included in the mod.

Overall, these changes and additions introduced by the mod bring a more dynamic and realistic animal husbandry experience to FS25, adding depth and complexity to the gameplay mechanics surrounding animal care and breeding. Players can now engage in more detailed management of their livestock, considering factors like reproduction, aging, and health to optimize their farming operations.
