That's great to hear that the steering wheel has been updated to a realistic JD 40 series wheel while preserving the original animation and transform hierarchy. It's important for the steering wheel to fit properly and look authentic, so adjusting its position and rotation is a nice touch.

Updating the steering wheel center decal helps enhance the overall appearance of the tractor. It's good that the driver hand target positions have been adjusted to match the new steering wheel, as it adds to the realism of the driving experience.

Regarding the wheels, the changes made to the wheel configurations sound like they provide more accurate representations of the John Deere 40 series in the US. Reworking the rear dual wheel appearance and removing any incorrect hub/extender appearances help in maintaining the authenticity of the tractor.

It's great to see attention to detail in preserving certain aspects while updating others to create a more realistic and immersive experience for players using the updated 40 series tractors.
