FS25 Bioplastic Production v1.0

Bring sustainability to your farm with the new bioplastic factory.
Using advanced fermentation techniques and enzymes, high-quality bioplastic granules are produced from corn, potatoes or sugar beets.

This facility processes plant-based raw materials with the help of water and enzymes into biodegradable plastic granules.
These can then be used as eco-friendly packaging in various other productions.

The bioplastic production facility you described is an exciting addition to the farm, offering a sustainable solution to plastic packaging. By using plant-based raw materials such as corn, potatoes, and sugar beets along with water and enzymes, it produces biodegradable plastic granules that can be utilized in eco-friendly packaging.

The three production lines available, Maize Line, Potato Line, and Sugar Beet Line, each operate at a rate of 5 cycles per hour. The input requirements for each cycle include maize, potatoes, or sugar beets, water, and enzymes, resulting in the production of 50 units of bioplastic granules per cycle. This bioplastic can then be utilized in various applications as eco-friendly packaging in other productions.

Moving on to the Bio-Canning Factory, this upgraded facility now uses bioplastic granules as an environmentally friendly packaging alternative for manufacturing goods such as canned peas, jarred green beans, canned carrots, canned parsnips, canned beetroots, spinach bags, kimchi, noodles soup, and rice bags/boxes. Each production line within the factory operates at a rate of 10 cycles per hour and involves different raw materials and bioplastic inputs to produce eco-friendly canned, jarred, or packaged items.

The prices of the facilities are $90,000 for the Bioplastic Production and $120,000 for the Bio-Canning Factory, with monthly maintenance costs of $250 and $300 respectively. These facilities not only offer sustainable solutions but also promote eco-conscious practices within the farm operations.
