FS25 Better Rowcrop Textures V1.0

Better-Rowcrop-Textures-V1.0-FS25-1.jpg

Do you hate the green harvest-ready textures for soybeans and corn in FS25? This pack includes recolored harvest-ready corn and soybeans, as the originals had too much green.

This is supposed to be temporary because it’s not a perfect picture. It’s just a recolor and tinting of the original giant’s image. So, I made beans, their dry tan color, and corn, which is golden yellow.

How to use:
Step 1: Locate your game data/foilage folder file path. Ex. I downloaded my game through Steam, so my file path is D:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Farming Simulator 25/data/foliage
Step 2: Find your foilage/maize and foilage/soybean folders.

COPY BOTH ORIGINAL FOLDERS AND KEEP A BACKUP. WE ARE REPLACING INGAME FILES, SO PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

Step 3: Within this foilage pack, go into each folder, select the harvest textures given, highlight them, and drag and drop them into their respective foilage folders. It will ask if you want to replace the files. Choose Yes.
Step 4: After dragging and dropping soybean and maize textures into their respective folders, open the game and ensure they work.
Step 5: Done.

IF THEY DID NOT WORK, REPLACE THE EDITED FOLDERS WITH THE BACKUPS YOU COPIED.

The recolored harvest-ready textures for soybeans and corn in FS25 sound like a great addition for players who prefer a different color scheme for their crops. It's good that you have provided detailed instructions on how to install the textures and also emphasized the importance of backing up the original files before making any changes.

It's important to note that modifying game files can sometimes lead to unexpected issues, so it's wise to follow your instructions carefully and be prepared to revert back to the original files if needed.

Players who are looking for a change in the appearance of their soybeans and corn will likely appreciate the effort you've put into creating these alternative textures. Thank you for sharing this mod with the community!
