FS25 Manual Field Flooding V1.0

manual-field-flooding-v1.0-1.jpg
This mod changes the behavior of the rice field water pump. You now need to supply water manually.

To supply water:
– Park a tanker trailer filled with water within a 10-meter radius of the pump.
– The option to pump water will appear in the pump’s GUI.

If no water source is available nearby:
– A message will notify you that a water-filling vehicle is not available in the area.
– The pump will not function until a water source is present and the pump is restarted.

Water usage depends on the field size. You may need to refill the tanker to fully flood the field.

The changes introduced by the mod for the rice field water pump sound interesting and add a new level of realism to the game. Requiring players to manually supply water by parking a tanker trailer within a 10-meter radius of the pump makes the irrigation process more interactive and engaging.

The fact that the pump will not function if a water source is not available nearby adds a strategic element to gameplay, forcing players to plan their irrigation activities carefully. The need to refill the tanker to fully flood the field based on the field size also adds a simulation aspect that mirrors real-life farming practices.

Players will now have to carefully manage their water resources and make informed decisions on when and how much water to use for each field. This mod enhances the immersion of the game by simulating a crucial aspect of farming in a detailed and realistic manner.

Overall, this mod introduces a thoughtful and challenging mechanic that should enhance the gameplay experience for those looking for a more realistic farming simulation in FS25.
