This feature sounds very convenient and enhances the player's control over the vehicle covers in FS25. Having the ability to manually control covers while on foot near the vehicle allows for more precise management of the covers without relying on automatic mechanisms.

The separate key binding for on-foot control and configurable control modes provide flexibility to the player based on their preferences and situation. The ability to choose between Manual (Outside), In-Cab (Remote), and Universal control modes allows for customization to suit different gameplay styles.

The hotkey to open/close the cover with the X key seems intuitive and easy to remember for players. It's great that the standard cover controls still apply when inside the vehicle, ensuring consistency and familiarity for players depending on the selected mode.

For players who want more information or need to report any bugs, having a designated GitHub repository at modnext/manualCover is a smart way to centralize feedback and updates. This allows for easier communication between players and developers, leading to potential improvements and bug fixes.

Overall, this manual cover control feature seems like a valuable addition to FS25 that enhances gameplay experience and player engagement.
