Die normale Grasstruktur mit einigen Löwenzahn, Gänseblümchen und Feldgras von FS22 vorbereitet.

V1.0.0.2 Update:
You might still experience some fps drops, but I think it’s less significant now.
If it’s still too bad, decrease the numBlocksPerUnit value in the XML. The greenSmall state is, for some reaso,n the worst regarding fps issues.
I think I will also create such a texture with the meadow texture instead of the grass texture, as the grass texture in general seems to be quite demanding performance-wise when you try to make the texture more dense.

PS. If you play on a modmap and this map has its own grass texture in a foliage folder, you might have to replace both the grass in the mod map foliage folder and in the base game. The game is a little diva still regarding custom foliage types in mod maps and, for some reason, insists on taking values like the “destructionState” from the in-game folder anyway.
Let me know if everything is alright.

V1.0.0.2
– removed unnecessary lines in xml that caused a warning in the log
– put all textures in a texture folder
– increased the amount of daisies in earlier stages –> removed them in “harvestReady” as they get overgrown
– tried to improve the texture performance-wise

Thank you for providing the detailed update for the Grass with Dandelions and Daisies mod in FS25. It's great to see the efforts made to address potential FPS drops and improve performance.

It's interesting to note that the greenSmall state was identified as one of the key factors affecting FPS issues, and adjusting the numBlocksPerUnit value in the XML can help mitigate this. It's a good practice to fine-tune such parameters to achieve the desired balance between visual quality and performance.

The decision to use the meadow texture instead of the grass texture for denser textures is a thoughtful approach to improving performance, considering the performance demands of the grass texture in creating dense textures.

Regarding the custom foliage types in mod maps, it's good to be aware of the game's behavior and potential conflicts between custom textures in mod maps and the base game. Your advice on replacing both the grass textures in the mod map's foliage folder and the base game for consistency and optimal performance is helpful for users encountering issues with custom foliage types.

The changes made in the V1.0.0.2 update, such as removing unnecessary lines in the XML, organizing textures into a dedicated folder, increasing the amount of daisies in earlier stages, and optimizing texture performance, demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the mod and user experience.

Overall, the updates and optimizations implemented in V1.0.0.2 reflect a proactive approach to addressing performance issues and improving the overall quality of the Grass with Dandelions and Daisies mod in FS25. Thank you for keeping users informed and for soliciting feedback to ensure a smooth user experience.
