FS25 Fortschritt B550 v1.0

The B 550 is an 8 furrow semi-mounted bed plow for tractors from 200 hp. The plow is usually operated in combination with the B 601 seedbed preparation device, which runs coupled to it.
The B 601 seedbed preparation device is a trailer device for plows with a working width of up to 290 cm. It is used when plowing the seed furrow, consolidating, crumbles and levels it. The advantage of the combination of plough/saturated bed preparation device is that after ploughing, driving over the field again is avoided

The B 550 is indeed a powerful 8-furrow semi-mounted bed plow designed for tractors with at least 200 hp. This type of plow is typically used for larger acreages and can help improve efficiency in the field.

When it comes to the B 601 seedbed preparation device, its role in combination with the plow is crucial for achieving optimal seedbed conditions. By consolidating, crumbling, and leveling the seed furrow, this device helps create an ideal environment for planting, promoting strong seed emergence and crop growth.

The advantage of using the B 601 seedbed preparation device in conjunction with the B 550 plow is that it eliminates the need for additional field passes after plowing. This saves time, fuel, and reduces soil compaction, leading to overall better field management practices.

The pricing for the B 550 plow starting from 15400€ is competitive considering its features and capabilities. Additionally, the optional B 601 seedbed preparation device at 8000€ is a valuable addition for those looking to further enhance their seedbed preparation process.

Overall, the combination of the B 550 plow and B 601 seedbed preparation device offers farmers a comprehensive solution for efficient and effective tillage operations, ultimately contributing to improved crop yields and overall farm productivity.
