extended-game-infodisplay-v1.0-1.jpg

Expands the current GameInfoDisplay in the upper right corner by displaying the current year under the date and a temperature feature with an indicator of whether the temperature is falling, staying constant or rising, the display of the current temperature. I also added the min/max temperature of the day.

The features you added to the GameInfoDisplay sound quite useful and enhance the overall player experience in the virtual farming world. Let's break down the new features you've included:

1. Current Year: Displaying the current year next to the date adds a layer of immersion and helps players keep track of the in-game timeline more easily. This information can be valuable for planning long-term strategies and understanding seasonality within the game.

2. Temperature Feature: The addition of a temperature indicator showing whether the temperature is falling, staying constant, or rising provides players with essential real-time information about weather changes. This feature can aid in making informed decisions regarding crop selection, animal care, and other activities affected by temperature fluctuations.

3. Current Temperature: Showing the current temperature allows players to quickly assess the immediate weather conditions without the need to navigate to a separate screen. This information could influence gameplay decisions, such as deciding whether to plant crops sensitive to temperature changes or to adjust livestock management practices.

4. Min/Max Temperature of the Day: Displaying the day's forecasted minimum and maximum temperatures gives players a heads-up on expected weather conditions. This information can assist in planning activities for the day, such as scheduling outdoor tasks during optimal temperature ranges or preparing for extreme weather events.

Overall, these additions to the GameInfoDisplay contribute to a more detailed and informative gameplay experience, empowering players to make strategic decisions based on weather forecasts and seasonal changes within the game world.
